The long-derelict Wey and Arun Canal offers an interesting from walk from Shalford souhwards towards Arundel. Parts of the canal are under restoration and parts are back in use - watch the tunnelling job to take the canal under the road at Loxwood. Here is the canal bed in Sidney Wood, south of Dunsfold.
